At ScreenCloud we have a distributed model, which means some employees work in one of our four hubs, some work fully remotely and some do a mix of both. This isn’t unusual in companies that want to be able to hire the best talent, unrestricted by geography. But what is quite different, is how we work as Founders, in order to successfully lead a mixed-model company. In this episode, Mark and David discuss the different approaches they’ve taken to ensure they have some face time with each of ScreenCloud’s four locations. From Mark’s approach which means traveling often, in short bursts, to David and Luke who are both planning to uproot in order to spend more time in our L.A. and Belfast offices. Plus the question of, is this the best approach, or is it possible to rely on digital communication completely?
